The suite celebrates Bartley Lodge’s heritage as the former home of the celebrated Victorian ‘father of geology’, Sir Charles Lyell, with plenty of space to relax and unwind with high ceilings, a glistening chandelier, and a large windows and seating to enjoy the garden views.

Our family rooms feature king or super king beds, plus trundle or bunk beds for families and additional space for couples. To help you relax and enjoy your stay, we’ve included eco-conscious toiletries in your en-suite and hot chocolates to enjoy together after a day exploring the forest.

Our Comfy Deluxe rooms feature four-poster beds, with plenty of additional space including a sofa or trundle bed. To help you relax and enjoy your stay, we’ve included fluffy dressing gowns along with eco-conscious toiletries in your en-suite. Enjoy those little extras during your stay with a pod coffee machine, hot chocolate and a selection of fruit teas.

With plush, super-king size beds and more space to kick back in, our Classic Superior rooms are an oasis of calm comfort. Add in the spacious en suite and the flat-screen TV with Freeview, plus soothing toiletries and you’re all set for a wonderful New Forest break. Generously proportioned and cleverly designed, many of these rooms are perfect for small families, with room for an extra bed.

Featuring super king size beds, which are cleverly designed to divide into two, topped with high-quality linens, these Classic rooms feature every touch to make your stay that more relaxing. These interior-designed rooms take their cue from the colours and patterns of our beautiful outdoors, with spacious en-suites and eco-conscious toiletries plus the addition of comfortable armchairs in most of these rooms.
